Leads automation and engineering projects from concept through implementation in a manufacturing environment. Designs, implements, troubleshoots, and optimizes automated systems involving PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, robotics, and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Manages project scope, schedules, budgets, documentation, commissioning, and cross-functional coordination while driving safety, quality, productivity, uptime, and continuous improvement.

Supports second-shift manufacturing operations across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, investigations, engagement, retention, compensation, benefits, compliance, and leadership coaching. Partners with associates and leaders on the production floor, conducts investigations, delivers HR training, administers HR processes, and identifies workforce trends to improve culture and retention.

Designs and develops manufacturing equipment, tooling, gauges, fixtures, and production aids for wind blade manufacturing. The role improves safety, quality, efficiency, ergonomics, and productivity through engineering solutions and error-proofing systems. Responsibilities include 3D mechanical design, FEA, fabrication and assembly drawings, project coordination, technical team leadership, manufacturing process improvement, cost reduction, and cross-functional collaboration.
