Perform intermediate technical code enforcement and building inspections for residential and commercial construction, conduct plan reviews, investigate violations, issue stop-work orders, prepare reports and testify in court, maintain certifications, respond to public inquiries, and assist with vehicle maintenance under the Building Official's direction.

The Plans Examiner reviews construction plans for compliance with building codes, coordinates with contractors and design professionals, and communicates required corrections prior to permit issuance.

Performs routine to moderately complex accounting duties including accounts payable, reconciliations, journal entries, deposit and ACH recording, financial reporting, budget support, grant accounting assistance, audit preparation, and maintaining ERP/financial records under GAAP and GASB guidance.
