Oversees business operations for a municipal Highway, Sanitation, and Fleet Services Division. Responsibilities include billing, accounts payable and receivable, purchasing, budgeting, financial reporting, permits, inventory, payroll support, scheduling, personnel administration, customer service, business systems, and emergency coordination. The role supervises administrative workflows, supports compliance and communications, researches service rates, and coordinates operational programs and field-service requests.

Oversees daily maintenance, operations, and long-term care of municipal parks, athletic fields, playgrounds, cemeteries, school grounds, and public landscapes. Supervises regular and seasonal staff, manages contractors, budgets, procurement, asset systems, safety protocols, and maintenance programs. Coordinates snow and ice operations, emergency response, fleet and equipment readiness, public inquiries, and interdepartmental activities. Ensures compliance, develops procedures, tracks performance, and supports sustainable, high-quality public assets.

Leads municipal tree crews and performs advanced arboricultural work, including climbing, pruning, removals, rigging, bucket truck operations, pest management, storm response, and tree planting oversight. The role evaluates hazards, enforces safety procedures, trains personnel, maintains equipment and records, inspects contractor work, responds to public inquiries, and supervises winter operations. Work occurs outdoors in physically demanding, high-risk environments near roads, structures, and power lines.
