Welcomes and checks in patients, enters information into EMR systems, verifies insurance, explains costs and coverage, collects copays, answers calls, and supports efficient patient flow. The role requires compassionate customer service, accurate administrative work, professionalism during difficult conversations, and collaboration with clinical staff in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Greet and check in 30–60 patients daily, enter information into EMR, verify insurance, collect co-pays, answer calls, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Perform digital radiography and/or CT imaging for patient evaluation; start on X-ray/reception with CT cross-training opportunity. Greet patients, enter information, and support providers alongside clinical and reception staff. Work three 12-hour shifts per week, including every-other-weekend and holiday coverage.

Provide urgent care to patients of all ages in an acute care setting, perform common procedures (suturing, I&D, splinting, laceration repair), interpret EKGs and X-rays, collaborate with advanced practice providers and clinical staff, communicate test results and follow-up plans, and serve as a clinical team leader.

Provide urgent acute care to patients of all ages, perform common procedures (suturing, I&D, splinting, laceration repair, IV hydration), interpret EKGs and X-rays, collaborate with physicians, lead the clinical team, communicate results and follow-up care, and work with support staff and scribes.
