The role partners with scientific, engineering, product, marketing, and customer teams to troubleshoot data and model performance, strengthen use cases, and communicate weather insights. Responsibilities include working with proprietary satellite data, operationalizing AI-assisted scientific workflows, integrating diverse meteorological formats, and supporting customer-focused applications of weather intelligence.

Develop, integrate, verify, and operate satellite weather-sensing payloads. Translate mission objectives into requirements, architecture, verification plans, and interface definitions; coordinate payload integration with spacecraft teams; perform modeling, trade studies, orbital analysis, testing, and risk management; investigate anomalies and resolve technical issues across engineering and science teams.

Own and evolve cloud-native and HPC infrastructure to maximize reliability, security, cost-efficiency, and developer experience. Build self-service platforms, integrate MLOps for GPU deployments, support SLURM-based scientific workloads, implement monitoring and CI/CD, adopt AI-powered developer and ops tooling, and participate in on-call to maintain production availability.
