Design and physically implement process monitors and silicon characterization circuits. Responsibilities include analog and mixed-signal circuit design, SPICE simulation, custom layout, physical verification, EDA automation, Python-based data analysis, silicon validation, and correlating measured results with simulations and device models.

Supports development of advanced optical sensing technologies for semiconductor applications. Responsibilities include literature reviews, hardware and instrumentation evaluation, experimental setup design, optical characterization, system integration, troubleshooting, data acquisition and analysis using Python or MATLAB, and technical reporting. The intern collaborates with researchers, engineers, and vendors while developing laboratory proof-of-concept systems.

Develop and characterize dry etch processes for semiconductor memory applications, optimizing productivity and quality. Design experiments, analyze process data, support customer demonstrations, troubleshoot applications lab equipment, and coordinate with customers, sales, marketing, and factory teams. The role includes customer-site process startup and support, international travel, and mandatory 1–2 years of training in Japan.
