Investigate and analyze surety bond claims, evaluate straightforward cases, manage an assigned caseload, and communicate written claim determinations. The role requires strong customer service, writing, analytical, organizational, and research skills, along with the ability to understand technical information and legal terminology. Employees will learn company systems, processes, and surety bond concepts before handling increasingly complex claims.

Claims Business Analyst will elicit and document business requirements, map current and future-state processes, facilitate stakeholder workshops, support product backlogs, define acceptance criteria, and assist with User Acceptance Testing. The role partners with Claims, Product, Technology, Change, Engineering, Data, and QA teams in Agile and Waterfall environments. Responsibilities include impact and gap analysis, traceability, process optimization, control assessment, prioritization support, and continuous improvement across insurance claims capabilities.
