Serve as Claims Product Owner/Business Analyst supporting claims performance transformation. Engage stakeholders, elicit and document requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria, run workshops, collaborate with delivery teams, support testing and release, and drive process mapping and strategic analysis to embed product changes.

Performs reinsurance and staff accounting activities, including managing gross and ceded reinsurance balances, preparing journal entries, supporting month-end close, reconciling general ledger accounts, recording settlements, setting up treaties, researching discrepancies, preparing reports, and assisting auditors. The role works with accounting, underwriting, claims, reinsurers, brokers, and internal departments while maintaining accurate financial and reinsurance system records.

Analyze commercial and financial institutions, research companies, assess risks, present findings to senior underwriters, and document accounts using standardized underwriting worksheets. The six-month internship includes initial training and preferably full-time work in an international Barcelona-based environment covering France, Benelux, and the Nordics.
