Supports the assembly, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and development of UHV and UHP gas systems for fusion energy applications. Responsibilities include leak detection, pump servicing, component cleaning, pipework installation, gauge calibration, root cause analysis, technical reporting, and safe operation in laboratory and engineering environments.

Designs and develops high-temperature superconducting magnet systems for fusion and other advanced applications. Responsibilities include mechanical and structural design, finite element modelling in ANSYS, stress and thermal analysis, materials modelling, test-data correlation, technical reporting, prototyping, and multidisciplinary collaboration from concept through validation and commercialisation.

Manage financial accounting and reporting for a major government-funded fusion programme. Responsibilities include contract revenue recognition, milestone billing, grant accounting, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, cash flow management, audit support, stakeholder partnering, and establishing robust financial controls and processes. The role will provide financial insight to technical and programme teams while creating sustainable frameworks for future contract delivery.
