Design, train, and deploy custom deep learning models for radar and camera (EO/IR) semantic segmentation, detection, and temporal tracking. Manage dataset design, collection, synthetic augmentation, and ML-Ops pipelines. Optimize models for resource-constrained edge hardware and collaborate with fusion/autonomy engineers for integration into multi-target tracking and SLAM systems.

Develop and implement maritime perception and autonomy software: multi-sensor fusion, multi-object tracking, localization in GPS-denied environments, vessel motion modeling, sensor characterization, calibration, testing, and simulation to support autonomous surface vehicles and OEM marine systems.

Design and implement maritime perception and autonomy systems: multi-target tracking, sensor fusion (Radar, EO/IR), radar-based SLAM and GPS-denied localization, real-time C++ deployments on edge hardware, and global path-planning with local obstacle avoidance. Support ASV developers and OEM partners and participate in field data collection and evaluation.

Lead design, training, and deployment of custom deep-learning models for Radar and EO/IR semantic segmentation, detection, and temporal tracking. Build multi-stage pipelines, train on large proprietary datasets, optimize C++ inference for resource-constrained ARM64/CPU edges, advance sensor-fusion with AIS and cartography, integrate ML outputs into multi-target tracking/SLAM, and contribute to MLOps for continuous training and evaluation.

Lead technical vision and architecture for cross-platform, high-performance software supporting AI/ML and sensor fusion. Design and implement C++ applications, own core libraries, set engineering standards, mentor engineers, oversee code quality, collaborate with product, data science, and hardware teams, and estimate and deliver major projects.

Deploy, integrate, and troubleshoot Tocaro Blue’s AI perception systems (ProteusCore and ApolloCore) on maritime platforms and USVs. Perform mechanical, electrical, networking, and software installation, run dockside and sea trials, analyze mission performance, train and support operators, and document deployment procedures to improve system reliability.

Annotate and label radar, camera, and other marine sensor imagery to build high-quality training datasets. Define and refine annotation standards with ML engineers, maintain labeling records, flag edge cases, and participate in quality assurance to ensure dataset integrity.
