Design and implement maritime perception and autonomy systems: multi-target tracking, sensor fusion (Radar, EO/IR), radar-based SLAM and GPS-denied localization, real-time C++ deployments on edge hardware, and global path-planning with local obstacle avoidance. Support ASV developers and OEM partners and participate in field data collection and evaluation.

Annotate and label radar, camera, and other marine sensor imagery to build high-quality training datasets. Define and refine annotation standards with ML engineers, maintain labeling records, flag edge cases, and participate in quality assurance to ensure dataset integrity.

Lead research and development of custom deep learning models for Radar and EO/IR (segmentation, classification, tracking). Build multi-stage ML pipelines, train on large proprietary datasets, optimize and deploy models to CPU/ARM64 edge hardware with C++ inference, and integrate ML outputs into fusion, tracking, and SLAM systems. Support ML-Ops and field data collection.

Lead design, training, and deployment of custom deep-learning models for Radar and EO/IR semantic segmentation, detection, and temporal tracking. Build multi-stage pipelines, train on large proprietary datasets, optimize C++ inference for resource-constrained ARM64/CPU edges, advance sensor-fusion with AIS and cartography, integrate ML outputs into multi-target tracking/SLAM, and contribute to MLOps for continuous training and evaluation.

Lead technical vision and architecture for cross-platform, high-performance software supporting AI/ML and sensor fusion. Design and implement C++ applications, own core libraries, set engineering standards, mentor engineers, oversee code quality, collaborate with product, data science, and hardware teams, and estimate and deliver major projects.
