Supports CBP cybersecurity authorization and compliance activities for FISMA systems. Reviews security controls, authorization packages, vulnerabilities, POA&Ms, risk findings, and compliance metrics. Coordinates with system owners, ISSOs, authorizing officials, DHS, CBP, and external stakeholders throughout the authorization lifecycle. Provides recommendations, reporting, documentation, audit readiness support, and risk-based guidance aligned with NIST SP 800-53 and federal cybersecurity requirements.

Analyzes operational technology cybersecurity threats, logs, network events, and alerts to identify attacks and advanced persistent threats. Supports detection-content development, incident response, root-cause analysis, remediation, and threat reporting. Serves as the OT cybersecurity subject-matter expert, with expertise in PLCs, SCADA, SIEM platforms, NIST incident response, and MITRE ATT&CK. Requires a bachelor’s degree, six years of IT experience, relevant OT and cyber threat intelligence experience, and an active DoD Top Secret clearance.

Conducts proactive threat hunting, analyzes logs and network data, investigates malicious activity, applies threat intelligence, develops hunting strategies and automation, and performs critical incident response. The role requires analyzing attacker techniques, identifying vulnerabilities and mitigations, working with large datasets, and documenting hunting operations for a Defense Logistics Agency cybersecurity program.
