Create, verify, and maintain Yamaha pick-and-place programs for high-mix PCB assembly. Develop component libraries, vision parameters, feeder assignments, and optimize placement sequences. Validate programs, support first-builds and NPI, troubleshoot placement/vision/feeder issues, and manage revision control per AS9100 to ensure quality and production throughput.

Hands-on, floor-focused SMT Engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain PCB assembly processes. Own SMT programming, reflow profiling, AOI/X-ray support, stencil recommendations, NPI readiness, yield improvement, documentation, training, and cross-functional root-cause problem solving to deliver stable, repeatable, high-yield production.

Support development, implementation, and optimization of PCBA and SMT manufacturing processes. Maintain and optimize Yamaha SMT, screen printers, SPI, reflow, and selective soldering equipment. Use data analysis, SPC, DOE, and Lean/Six Sigma methods to reduce defects, improve yield, and document processes. Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering from NPI through production and train personnel on standardized work.
