Tiger Brands Benefits Overview

Participates in structured P2 training, gaining supervised hands-on workplace experience at a Tiger Brands site. The trainee applies theoretical knowledge to daily technical operations, receives mentorship, and develops practical capabilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Fabricates, installs, repairs, and maintains bins, tanks, chutes, hoppers, pipelines, structural steel, boilers, and plant equipment. Performs welding, cutting, bending, inspections, preventative and breakdown maintenance, and fault finding. Interprets technical drawings, maintains records, follows safety and quality standards, supports shutdowns and projects, and drives improvements to machine guarding, sealing integrity, and product leakage reduction.

Maintain and improve plant production equipment through planned and preventative maintenance. Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, inspections, lubrication, machinery installation, alignment, rewiring, and component overhauls. Diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults, maintain accurate service records, support continuous improvement, and comply with health and safety requirements.
