Supports electrical engineering for institutional, retail, and commercial building projects. Assists with power and lighting design, engineering calculations, construction documents, specifications, shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, and coordination with contractors, design teams, officials, and owners during construction administration.

Design electrical power and lighting systems for institutional, retail, and commercial buildings. Prepare engineering calculations, schematics, construction documents, specifications, and technical reports. Coordinate with architects, clients, vendors, contractors, officials, and other consultants throughout design and construction. Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, conduct site visits and observations, and meet project schedules and budgets.

Design datacom and low-voltage systems (structured cabling, networks, VoIP, A/V, CATV, surveillance, access control, DAS). Produce calculations, construction documents, specifications, and construction administration; coordinate with architects, owners, contractors; perform site assessments and national travel for visits; meet schedules and budgets; stay current on IT trends.
