Improve reliability, availability, scalability, observability, and operational automation for a 24/7 SaaS platform. The engineer will design and operate cloud-based systems, define SLIs and SLOs, manage Datadog observability, lead incident response, investigate distributed production issues, improve deployment safety and resilience, automate operational toil, manage infrastructure as code, and provide on-call technical support while maintaining security and HIPAA compliance.

Design, develop, test, release, and maintain scalable full-stack SaaS applications, APIs, integrations, backend services, and data-access components. Guide architecture and technical decisions, diagnose complex production issues, and improve security, reliability, performance, and maintainability. Use AI-assisted and agentic tools responsibly, collaborate across engineering and business teams, and mentor developers. The role owns software through the full lifecycle, from discovery and implementation to production support and continuous improvement.

Design, develop, and maintain automated API and UI test suites for a SaaS application. Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, contribute to load and performance testing, analyze failures, identify bottlenecks, and report defects. The role also performs manual testing when needed, improves testing practices, develops scalable frameworks, and mentors distributed engineering teams on automation strategies and quality standards.
