Teams at Theiagen Genomics

Leads complex pathogen genomics initiatives, provides scientific oversight, manages partner engagements, interprets bioinformatics results, and mentors analysts. Develops and evaluates workflows, tools, documentation, and operational processes while presenting findings to technical and public health audiences. Also contributes to product vision, roadmap prioritization, requirements, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement. Requires advanced bioinformatics expertise in NGS, multi-omics, genomic epidemiology, and public health applications.

Supports development and maintenance of pathogen-genomics bioinformatics solutions. Leads training workshops, provides subject matter expertise during genomic investigations, improves support and training processes, translates partner needs for development teams, communicates project updates, and mentors junior staff. The role requires advanced analysis of NGS and pathogen-genomics data, including assembly, annotation, phylogenetics, outbreak investigation, MLST, antimicrobial resistance detection, and public health interpretation.
