Supports internal and corporate communications by creating and editing content, telling employee stories, strengthening employer brand surfaces, and keeping colleagues informed. Coordinates communications projects, systems, vendors, events, and logistics while collaborating with People, Talent, Facilities, and Engineering teams. The role also applies AI tools to drafting, research, and process improvement, manages confidential information, and helps build scalable communications processes.

Conduct an independent fusion physics research project under senior mentorship. Responsibilities include literature reviews, simulations, data analysis, stellarator design support, collaboration with mechanical and electrical engineers, translating modeling results into engineering specifications, tracking research goals, and presenting findings. Projects may involve plasma confinement, stellarator optimization, divertor and edge physics, plasma-material interactions, diagnostics, energetic particles, or fusion neutronics.

Supports HTS magnet manufacturing and testing through documentation, tooling and fixture development, inventory and BOM management, procurement, quality checks, and production metric tracking. Collaborates with test engineers, magnet designers, and manufacturing engineers to apply lessons learned to future designs. The role includes hands-on prototyping, fabrication, assembly, commissioning, and multidisciplinary engineering problem-solving in an industrial facility with cryogenic, high-voltage, high-current, and magnetic hazards.
