Support design, analysis, and testing of high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets. Develop analytical models, run multiphysics simulations (Ansys/COMSOL), process test data, build Python analysis tools and dashboards, document specifications and procedures, coordinate with manufacturing and vendors, and track program metrics. Identify data quality issues and contribute to magnet design, manufacturing, and test activities.

Lead and grow a team designing, building, and testing HTS superconducting magnets. Own schedules, technical specifications, multiphysics analyses, vendor management, and design-for-manufacturing. Drive tool and process adoption, integrate magnet systems with manufacturing and test, report progress and risks to program leadership, and mentor engineers to meet aggressive fusion program milestones.

Lead and scale Thea Energy's HTS magnet engineering function: set technical strategy, manage budget and vendors, hire and develop teams, and drive magnet design, build, and test milestones aligned to commercialization. Serve as an executive technical authority, represent the program externally, and own portfolio-level risk, capital planning, and manufacturing/test infrastructure.
