Manage strategic sourcing and technical subcontracts for commercial fusion systems. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating complex supplier agreements, managing vendor performance against statements of work, protecting intellectual property, assessing global suppliers, coordinating engineering, finance, and legal stakeholders, and mitigating financial, operational, and legal risks.

Supports internal and corporate communications by creating and editing content, telling employee stories, strengthening employer brand surfaces, and keeping colleagues informed. Coordinates communications projects, systems, vendors, events, and logistics while collaborating with People, Talent, Facilities, and Engineering teams. The role also applies AI tools to drafting, research, and process improvement, manages confidential information, and helps build scalable communications processes.

Conduct an independent fusion physics research project under senior mentorship. Responsibilities include literature reviews, simulations, data analysis, stellarator design support, collaboration with mechanical and electrical engineers, translating modeling results into engineering specifications, tracking research goals, and presenting findings. Projects may involve plasma confinement, stellarator optimization, divertor and edge physics, plasma-material interactions, diagnostics, energetic particles, or fusion neutronics.
