Perform reduced-physics and engineering model implementation, build coupled integrated-model workflows, run constrained numerical optimization of designs, and train surrogate models on high-fidelity simulation outputs. Work focuses on stellarator plasma confinement and leveraging ML/surrogates to accelerate design exploration.

Support manufacturing engineering for HTS magnet assemblies: create and update SOPs, assist tooling/prototyping/commissioning, manage BOMs and inventory, evaluate vendor parts, track production metrics, and work with designers to incorporate shop-floor lessons. Also assist with basic IT/device support and documentation for employees.

Support design, simulation, prototyping, and testing of HTS magnet systems. Tasks include CAD and FEA, electromagnetic simulation, hardware prototyping, cryogenic and vacuum testing, instrumentation, electrical/control work, and data analysis using tools like COMSOL, ANSYS, Python, MATLAB, and LabVIEW. Onsite role with hands-on lab work and physical requirements.
