Design, build, and maintain advanced plasma diagnostics for a stellarator, plan and execute experimental campaigns on fast-ion transport and wave-particle interactions, integrate vacuum and high-field hardware, analyze multi-diagnostic data with Python/MATLAB/Julia, collaborate with national labs and academia, publish results, and mentor students and interns.

Perform reduced-physics and engineering model implementation, build coupled integrated-model workflows, run constrained numerical optimization of designs, and train surrogate models on high-fidelity simulation outputs. Work focuses on stellarator plasma confinement and leveraging ML/surrogates to accelerate design exploration.

Support manufacturing engineering for HTS magnet assemblies: create and update SOPs, assist tooling/prototyping/commissioning, manage BOMs and inventory, evaluate vendor parts, track production metrics, and work with designers to incorporate shop-floor lessons. Also assist with basic IT/device support and documentation for employees.
