Preserve, treat, document, and research the museum's manuscripts, rare books, and works on paper for exhibition, loan, acquisition, and digitization. Perform condition surveys, emergency treatments, technical analyses, preventive conservation, rehousing, contractor coordination, grant work, mentoring, public engagement, and courier duties.

Own full-cycle payroll processing in Paycom and administer employee benefits and leave programs. Ensure compliance with wage laws and collective bargaining agreements, reconcile payroll with finance, manage enrollments and vendor invoices, support onboarding/offboarding and recruitment, maintain employee records, generate HR reports, and lead transition from external contractors to an internal payroll/benefits function.

Lead a 4-person HR team to manage HR operations, employee relations, union contract negotiations, performance management, payroll/benefits, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and DEIA initiatives. Serve as trusted advisor to leadership and Board, oversee HR policies and investigations, manage HR budget and vendors, and support the museum's Health and Safety Plan.
