Leads HR client partnering for UQ Sport, advising senior leaders on workforce planning, organisational design, talent, employee relations, performance, and people strategy. Manages and develops HR professionals, oversees complex employee relations matters, mitigates workforce risks, and uses workforce analytics to inform executive decisions. The role partners with HR specialists and organisational leaders to deliver compliant, inclusive, high-performing teams across UQ’s St Lucia and Gatton campuses.

Lead and continuously improve university mentoring and volunteering programs, supervise a small team, deliver student training and events, build stakeholder partnerships, analyze program outcomes, and support initiatives focused on student engagement, student voice, and volunteer recognition.

Lead the Wide Bay Learning Community within UQ’s Rural Clinical School. Responsibilities include supporting medical student learning and progression, strengthening clinical education, mentoring educators and researchers, fostering scholarship, building partnerships with regional healthcare providers, promoting rural medical careers, and contributing to university governance and academic initiatives.
