Lead and manage Indigenous employment initiatives university-wide, designing and improving programs that support recruitment, retention and career development. Partner with HR and leaders to embed culturally safe practices, grow participation and pathways, monitor performance, manage risks, and produce high-quality reports and briefings to inform strategy.

Supports research finance through financial accounting, revenue recognition, interest distribution, sponsor reporting, reconciliations, variance resolution, audited financial statements, and funding compliance. Provides expert advice on complex agreements and governance requirements, builds relationships with external funders and auditors, and leads continuous improvements to processes, controls, documentation, and Excel reporting templates.

The Head of School will provide strategic, academic and operational leadership for the School of Mathematics and Statistics. Responsibilities include advancing research and teaching excellence, developing strategy, managing resources, fostering an inclusive high-performing culture, supporting staff and students, building interdisciplinary and external partnerships, and strengthening the School’s international reputation and broader impact.
