Leads nursing care during assigned shifts by supervising nurse aides, administering medications and treatments, implementing care plans, transcribing physician orders, documenting resident care, participating in shift reports, educating staff, maintaining safety and infection-control standards, and addressing staffing shortages. The role requires an RN or LVN license in good standing, strong assessment and documentation skills, effective communication, organization, emergency responsiveness, and attention to detail.
