Responsibilities include architectural planning, deployment documentation, deployment reviews, mentoring engineers, customer and project manager collaboration, troubleshooting, technical reviews, and maintaining vendor certifications. The role requires extensive experience with Dell EMC storage, virtualization, hyper-converged systems, networking, backup technologies, data centers, technical documentation, and onsite hardware installation. Travel up to 45% and after-hours support are required.

Lead technical pre-sales engagements for enterprise customers across infrastructure, hybrid cloud, networking, cybersecurity, Microsoft ecosystems, and data protection. Conduct discovery sessions, design scalable solution architectures, develop proposals, present technical recommendations to executive and technical stakeholders, and collaborate with sales engineering and service delivery teams to ensure implementation alignment.

Lead enterprise pre-sales architecture engagements for data center modernization, secure networking, WAN, hybrid cloud connectivity, virtualization, and disaster recovery. Translate business objectives into infrastructure strategies, design complex routing, switching, segmentation, and SD-WAN solutions, lead customer workshops, support RFPs, create architecture documentation and bills of materials, and transition designs to delivery teams. The role requires regular customer-site meetings across the West Coast.
