Leads the development, management, evaluation, and growth of federally funded research fellowship programs. Oversees program strategy, financial management, staffing, sponsor relationships, proposals, contracts, outreach, marketing, and compliance with contractual obligations. Manages a mid-sized team, mentors employees, negotiates funding, supports organizational planning, and represents programs with sponsors and external stakeholders.

Leads a portfolio of applied airport and transportation research projects, overseeing quality, delivery, risks, sponsors, contractors, and volunteer committees. Supervises 5–6 professional staff, sets priorities, manages performance and development, and aligns team work with program objectives. The role also prepares executive communications, supports governance and stakeholder engagement, manages complex initiatives, and improves project tracking, workflows, and operational processes.
