Leads hands-on design, development, testing, and production delivery of generative and agentic AI solutions. Builds RAG, automation, knowledge retrieval, developer productivity, and IT operations capabilities; integrates AI with enterprise systems, APIs, data, and cloud services. Ensures security, privacy, observability, evaluation, scalability, and operational readiness while mentoring engineers, documenting reusable patterns, and coordinating technical delivery across architecture, infrastructure, security, data, and business teams.

Lead the enterprise AI Systems Governance Program across multiple insurance carriers. Oversee AI risk assessment, classification, approval, monitoring, model performance, bias detection, vendor AI governance, incident management, and regulatory readiness. Provide broader oversight of cybersecurity governance, data privacy, IT controls, audit preparation, and technology risk reporting. Lead the governance team, collaborate with executive committees and business units, and establish consistent responsible AI practices across member organizations.

Manages a commercial insurance book of business for profitable growth by evaluating and pricing new and renewal risks, preparing quotes, addressing coverage questions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Builds relationships with agents and distribution partners, monitors portfolio performance, coordinates risk control activities, and drives corrective actions. The role also mentors staff, reviews referrals, conducts peer audits, approves lower-authority underwriting decisions, and supports training and development.
