Conduct patrols, security and fire/life-safety inspections, hazard identification, and corrective-action follow-up. Monitor CCTV, alarms, restricted areas, and access-control systems; respond to medical emergencies, fires, suspicious activity, and other incidents. Assist with evacuations, drills, HazCom compliance, visitor assistance, documentation, and risk-reduction efforts. The role requires flexible shifts, physical activity, emergency-response training, and occasional standby duties.

Lead horticulture operations across a 550-acre public park, excluding turf and trees. Manage ornamental and conservation gardens, native plantings, propagation, seasonal containers, invasive removal, scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, contractors, volunteers, projects, and a horticulture team. Coordinate with research, events, and education staff while maintaining plants, equipment, and public-facing gardens.
