Provides a safe, positive, developmentally appropriate environment for sixth- through eighth-grade students. Supervises and mentors youth, leads activities and clubs, supports behavior management, monitors facility entry and exit, reports incidents, maintains program areas, assists with family engagement, and collaborates with staff and community partners. The role works Monday through Friday during LPS school days from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m.

The Assistant Director oversees daily after-school and summer program execution for K–8 students. Responsibilities include staff supervision and coaching, activity planning, behavior support, family and school engagement, CACFP compliance, attendance and recordkeeping, safety procedures, transportation logistics, field trips, reporting, inventory, and continuous quality improvement. The role serves as the operational lead in the Director’s absence and requires regular evening and weekend availability.
