Teams at The House of the Good Shepherd

Provide licensed nursing care for children in a residential/behavioral setting: admission assessments, vitals monitoring, medication administration and coordination with physicians, documentation, chart reviews, QA/QI participation, on-call duties, and support for departmental functions and staff. Maintain supplies, infection control, and assist with employee health screenings.

Develop, implement, and document individualized therapeutic recreation plans and activities for youth in a residential Thrive Together program. Conduct standardized assessments, set measurable goals, collect progress data, lead recreation calendars and specialized adjunct therapies, train staff, participate in treatment team meetings, manage recreation budget and supplies, and complete required certifications and trainings. Work may include evenings and weekends for community integration events.

Conduct psychoeducational, academic, and cognitive evaluations for residential students; develop FBAs and BIPs with treatment teams; consult with clinical and educational staff; participate in CSE and educational planning; provide crisis counseling and staff in-service training; contribute to quality improvement.
