Teams at The HIDI Group Inc.

Assists engineers with designing building electrical systems, including lighting, fire alarm, power distribution, equipment, and controls. Creates drawings, schematics, specifications, calculations, and reports using AutoCAD and related engineering tools. Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, clients, utilities, authorities, and construction personnel. Performs site audits, reviews shop drawings, supports quality control, attends meetings, and conducts site reviews while following applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.

Manage small mechanical engineering projects and daily project-group activities, including technical design, scheduling, budgeting, client coordination, specifications, estimates, inspections, and project reporting. Lead and review team work, supervise technicians and engineers, ensure compliance with standards and regulations, maintain project schedules, and contribute to business development, process improvement, and staff development.

Provides administrative and proposal coordination support to engineering teams. Responsibilities include maintaining files, preparing reports and presentations, managing correspondence and calls, coordinating meetings and travel, supporting office operations, and coordinating proposals from timeline development through submission and post-proposal review. The role also involves proofreading, maintaining templates and project records, handling confidential information, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
