Lead day-to-day planning, implementation, monitoring, and closeout of forestry and conservation projects on Eldorado National Forest. Coordinate contractors and seasonal staff, ensure contract and environmental compliance, collect field data, prepare technical reports and GIS deliverables, support RFPs and outreach, and maintain safety and stakeholder communication.

Perform GIS modeling, mapping, QA/QC, metadata management, and field data collection using ESRI tools and GNSS to support cultural resource flood recovery, stabilization, and facility asset management at Death Valley National Park.

Volunteer/docent supports the Galena Creek Visitor Center by providing interpretive services, guiding tours, assisting with programs, outreach, site maintenance, gift shop and event support, and helping develop field trips and camps. Commitment is flexible (4–16+ hours/week).

Lead ethnographic and archival research with Death Valley NPS and the Timbisha Shoshone Tribe to compile historical and cultural materials, consult tribal THPO and members, and develop interpretive products (panels, exhibits, programs, trainings). Work under NPS mentorship, document oral histories and records, and support culturally-informed resource interpretation and education.

Oversee rehabilitation of the historic Tassi Ranch: supervise AmeriCorps crew on landscape maintenance, drainage (French drains, swales), dismantling and reconstruction of a historic shed, ensure historic-accurate methods, compliance with preservation standards, maintain records and reporting, and coordinate with NPS and SHPO.

Lead field-based coordination and delivery of forestry stewardship projects across planning, implementation, monitoring, and closeout. Oversee contractors and seasonal staff, ensure contract compliance and safety, collect field data, manage GIS/GPS datasets, prepare technical reports and contract documents, coordinate with USFS and partners, and support outreach and administrative tasks.
