Responsibilities include departmental leadership, budgeting, capital projects, construction, vendor and contractor management, historic building preservation, preventive maintenance, HVAC and environmental controls, housekeeping standards, landscape planning, safety, accessibility, and long-range facility strategies.

Supports day-of logistics for lectures, tours, performances, workshops, and large community events at Frick Pittsburgh. Responsibilities include vendor and speaker liaison work, attendee check-in, visitor assistance, setup and cleanup, refreshments and technology preparation, rehearsals, and post-program debriefs. The role requires flexible daytime, evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability, strong organization, problem-solving, communication, and visitor-service skills, plus physical ability to stand, walk, and move event equipment.
