Lead The Economist AI Lab’s product and engineering strategy across the full 0-to-1 lifecycle. Set the innovation roadmap, lead a multidisciplinary product, design, and engineering team, guide customer discovery and validation, shape architecture and build-versus-buy decisions, and oversee AI-powered product development from prototypes through production. Partner with editorial, platform, data, and commercial teams while maintaining high standards for reliability, provenance, quality, and editorial independence.

Leads enterprise AI transformation by identifying and prioritizing automation opportunities, redesigning workflows, building AI prototypes and agents, and taking successful solutions into production. Partners with business, product, engineering, and platform teams to drive adoption, training, measurement, governance, and continuous improvement. Evaluates commercial value, tracks realized benefits, and advises where AI can responsibly improve operations.
