Supports construction estimating by interpreting drawings and specifications, quantifying materials, organizing quantity takeoffs, estimating interiors, and learning structural and civil estimating. The intern contacts trade contractors and suppliers for pricing, supports pricing database and software improvements, learns building systems, participates in project site visits, and may assist with BIM, 4D models, facility asset management models, VR, and AR initiatives.

Supports construction project teams during planning and construction phases by assisting with RFIs, document control, submittals, cost tracking, schedules, meeting documentation, inspections, drawings, daily reports, progress photography, quality tracking, and site safety initiatives.

Supports construction project teams with administrative and technical tasks, including RFI coordination, document control, submittal tracking, cost and schedule updates, meeting documentation, specification review, inspection coordination, drawing updates, daily reports, progress photography, and safety planning. This summer internship is intended for undergraduate students studying civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
