Leads insurance defense litigation and firm business functions. Advises clients, manages cases through trial, supervises attorneys and staff, conducts legal research, drafts pleadings and briefs, negotiates settlements, handles mediations, and represents clients in court and administrative proceedings. Also contributes to hiring, budgeting, compliance, deadlines, and firm strategy. Requires a 1,950-hour annual billable commitment.

Supports workers’ compensation attorneys throughout litigation and case management. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, memoranda, correspondence, and motions; organizing records and invoices; following up on records; managing high-volume caseloads; reviewing documents for privilege; conducting legal research; assisting with mediation and trial preparation; and maintaining electronic case files.

Manage a diverse general-liability insurance defense caseload from intake through trial and appeal. Perform legal research and drafting, represent clients at court, arbitration, and depositions, handle discovery, retain experts, and collaborate with partners while meeting a 1,950-hour billable requirement.
