Install, align, seal, and backfill storm/sanitation and water main pipe (RCP, RCB, CMP). Dig and grade trenches, inspect joints, use welding/glue, grade rods/transit levels, and perform maintenance and repairs.

Installs and maintains pipe systems for storm and sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains on roadway construction projects. Responsibilities include preparing trenches, configuring routes, aligning and sealing pipes, grading culverts, inspecting joints, covering installed pipes, drilling auxiliary-line holes, and repairing defective sections. Uses trenching tools, grade rods, transit levels, welding equipment, and magnetic or radio indicators. Work is generally Monday through Friday, with variable hours.

As a Pipe Layer, you will assemble and install pipe systems for storm and sanitation sewers, ensuring proper alignment and sealing of joints. Responsibilities include digging trenches and correcting pipe alignments.
