Construction Safety Intern supporting the national safety team by revising policies, developing training, maintaining fall-protection inspections, conducting site visits, communicating with field staff and general contractors, investigating incidents, reporting safety metrics, assisting orientations, and reinforcing safe practices. The role requires regional travel, strong communication and public-speaking skills, OSHA certifications, first-responder certification, and knowledge of OSHA and DOT requirements.

Supports the HR team with field hiring initiatives, candidate background checks, employment verifications, E-Verify, I-9 audits, onboarding-related tasks, employee file maintenance, HRIS updates, unemployment claims, benefit audits, and wage verifications. The intern helps coordinate hiring speed and ensures compliance with required candidate and employee notices.

Manage commercial drywall and steel stud framing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Responsibilities include estimating, contract and scope review, preconstruction meetings, jobsite walks, resource and financial management, change orders, billing, risk identification, client coordination, and final payment collection. The role requires construction document expertise, project management experience, regular site visits, and up to 20% travel within the designated market.
