Coordinates workplace safety and training programs, including Lockout/Tagout, OSHA recordkeeping, forklift certifications, and employee safety procedures. Develops SOPs and certification programs, maintains training records, prepares reports and presentations, and communicates safety requirements across the workforce. Spanish-English bilingual communication and safety software familiarity are preferred.

Entry-level saw shop apprentice who learns to inspect, sharpen, maintain, and prepare saw blades and cutting tools. Supports saw tensioning, alignment, troubleshooting, documentation, and safe handling while working shifts in a noisy industrial sawmill environment.

Maintain cleanliness and safety of the sawmill by sweeping, mopping, removing sawdust and debris, cleaning equipment, disposing of waste per regulations, conducting inspections, reporting hazards, and supporting maintenance and other assigned duties to ensure a safe, efficient operation.
