Develop, implement, and improve anti-money laundering policies, controls, processes, and reporting across multiple EU jurisdictions. Translate regulations into practical solutions, optimize workflows, analyze AML data, support audits and regulatory inquiries, deliver training, and identify automation opportunities. Partner with Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Data teams to embed effective AML practices across the business.

An 18-month product trainee will join Avarda’s Data Platform team and develop toward a Junior Product Manager role. Responsibilities include understanding banking and payment data flows, documenting processes, writing business requirements and product tickets, supporting prioritization and roadmap discussions, coordinating with business and technical stakeholders, and contributing to data governance, quality, privacy, and automated decision-making initiatives.

Provides in-house legal advice across German and Austrian markets in a fintech environment, covering contracts, consumer credit, privacy, competition, banking regulation, product assessments, disputes, and regulatory implementation. The role monitors regulatory changes, updates customer documentation, negotiates agreements, supports legal operations and AI governance projects, collaborates with international teams, and delivers internal training.
