Conduct independent verification and validation assessments for government and commercial IT programs. Review software development processes, configuration integrity, release readiness, requirements traceability, testing evidence, communications, integration, data oversight, cutover management, and corrective-action closure. Develop thorough technical documentation of findings and communicate results effectively. The role requires extensive federal or state IV&V experience, IEEE 1012 IL4 assessment expertise, and strong technical writing and analytical skills.

Provide independent verification and validation for federal/state IT projects: review PMO areas (communications, configuration, integration, data, cutover, testing), develop test plans/procedures/reports, document requirements, maintain test assets, and support scheduling and technical writing for part-time consulting engagements.

Evaluate software against ISO/IEC 25010:2023 quality characteristics by developing and executing test plans, capturing evidence, documenting defects with reproduction steps and severity, and reporting results to stakeholders. Focus includes performance, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and safety.

Lead development and execution of AI-specific test plans to evaluate LLM and AI system quality, robustness, security, and compliance with OWASP AI Testing Guide and related standards. Document defects and remediation, capture evidence, validate model behavior (prompt-response, hallucinations), implement AI-driven QE approaches (autonomous test generation, self-healing automation, defect prediction), and report results to stakeholders.

Recruiting onsite participants (Sterling, VA) for 1-2 hour Smart TV closed-caption and accessibility usability testing in Summer 2026. Participants will locate and enable captions, navigate settings with the remote, preview customization (font size, color, display), evaluate readability and persistence of settings, and provide verbal feedback. No technical experience required; participants must be 18+.

Manage federal cybersecurity programs and contracts, lead multidisciplinary security teams, ensure compliance with federal frameworks (RMF, NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP), direct ATO and continuous monitoring, oversee vulnerability management using tools like Tenable/Nessus and Splunk, manage budgets/staffing, support proposals and transitions, and serve as primary government stakeholder interface.
