Requires discretion, strong communication, process-building ability, flexible hours, on-site work in Austin, and occasional travel to customer and construction sites.

Own TerraFirma’s HR function across employee relations, benefits, compliance, onboarding, workforce planning, compensation, HR systems, performance management, career development, engagement, and people analytics. Partner with leadership while supporting office, field, manufacturing, and construction personnel. Build scalable programs, maintain employment-law compliance, manage workplace matters, and develop a people-first culture in a fast-growing startup.

Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering, hardware, robotics, construction, and field operations roles. Responsibilities include sourcing passive candidates, conducting technical and cultural screens, coordinating interviews, managing candidate logistics, negotiating offers, and onboarding. The recruiter will partner with hiring managers, represent TerraFirma’s mission, track pipeline metrics, improve hiring conversion and time-to-hire, and support fast-paced hiring initiatives.
