Build and test AI tools that interact with databases, including query, create, update, and delete functions. Design safeguards such as permissions, input validation, confirmation steps, and development-environment testing. Document tool behavior and data access, follow donor and participant data-handling rules, and identify improvements to the organization’s AI tooling. This fully remote internship provides mentorship and practical experience in AI engineering, API design, database operations, access control, and testing.

Maintain and update Salesforce participant-tracking systems, build program outcome reports, clean and organize data, and support Salesforce workflow development. The intern will learn Salesforce administration, reporting, and process design while supporting nonprofit program reporting. This is a fully remote, unpaid three-month internship requiring 5–10 hours per week, with North Carolina residency preferred and mentorship provided.

Create and structure AI literacy curriculum, research instructional frameworks, develop course materials and assessments, publish content through LearnPress, and refine lessons using participant feedback. The intern will work remotely with the Founder and Web Manager Intern for 5–10 hours weekly over three months. No prior curriculum design experience is required; reliability, curiosity, and authorization to volunteer in the United States are required.
