Telerus AIS™ is the first and only hosted speech platform designed for local jails.  “Hosted” simply means that all of the hardware and software resides offsite or in “the Cloud.”  “Speech Platform” refers to a software suite with capability to recognize spoken inputs and commands over the phone.

So what does a hosted speech platform do for jails?  The hosted part allows for quick installations with low monthly fees and minimal commitment.  The speech part allows citizens calling a jail to simply say what or who they are looking for, such as a potential inmate’s name, rather than having to touch tone in a Booking ID, Inmate Number, SS# or DOB that may or may not be known.
