Develop and improve manufacturing processes for infrared lens production, including tooling, equipment, work instructions, testing, cost estimation, and process controls. Troubleshoot defects and production issues, implement corrective actions, support new product releases, train technicians, and drive Lean/5S continuous improvement. Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, tooling, and vendors while maintaining ISO and trade compliance records. Perform opto-mechanical environmental testing using thermal chambers and vibration equipment.

Supports international OEM customers integrating thermal camera systems. Responsibilities include technical documentation, troubleshooting, product validation, customer training, demonstrations, system requirements, hardware/software compatibility, data analysis, assembly, testing, production improvements, and sales support. The role requires collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams and up to 25% domestic and international travel.

Create and maintain electrical and optical production testers for infrared readouts and focal plane arrays. Validate automated test software through code review and direct measurement, analyze test data, generate reports, troubleshoot signal integrity, and support yield improvement. Responsibilities also include analog and digital circuit design, simulation, testing, procedure development, and technical support for engineering and production teams.
