The role requires deep knowledge of Japan’s business environment, strong commercial and technical expertise in imaging, fluent English and German, and travel exceeding 50% within Japan.

Perform component plating and cleaning operations according to process specifications. Prepare and maintain chemical solutions, rinse waters, and plating baths; monitor levels and safety conditions; document process data; inspect work for quality compliance; report issues; use measurement tools and computers; maintain equipment and clean work areas.

Leads a five-person manufacturing systems team responsible for production uptime, on-time delivery, build quality, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, tooling, process documentation, safety, and continuous improvement. Coordinates NPI readiness, Lean events, DFMEA/PFMEA activities, equipment setup, test metrics, and cross-functional engineering and quality initiatives. Provides workload management, technical support during line-down events, reporting, training, and product safety oversight.
