Manages cybersecurity risk, compliance, and authorization activities for DoD information systems. Leads RMF execution, security assessments, vulnerability management, SSP and ATO package development, continuous monitoring, and eMASS documentation. Advises system owners and leadership, coordinates with authorizing officials and assessors, hardens Linux systems, tracks POA&Ms, and mentors ISSOs and ISSEs.

Designs, configures, integrates, tests, documents, and supports secure CSfC network solutions for classified DoD environments. Responsibilities include PKI and certificate authority configuration, firewall and VPN deployment, network engineering, systems integration, DoD STIG and IAVA compliance, onsite installation and training, Tier 2/3 outage support, and vendor coordination. Requires an active Secret clearance, IAT II certification, professional network certification, U.S. citizenship, and at least three years of network engineering experience.

Develops strategic communications plans supporting Air Force IT operations and policy objectives. Coordinates messaging across military organizations, advises leadership, trains personnel, and produces newsletters, service notifications, flyers, and advertisements. The role requires military or government communications experience, strong writing and collaboration skills, an active Secret clearance, and active IAT II certification. Based at Joint Base Andrews, the position supports AFNCR communications with less than 10% travel.
