The role is onsite in Silver Spring with approved telework, scheduled emergency on-call support, and requires Public Trust eligibility.

The OCI Engineer provisions and operates Oracle Cloud Infrastructure compute, storage, networking, and load-balancing services. Responsibilities include Terraform automation, environment deployment, network troubleshooting, cross-cloud connectivity, monitoring, incident resolution, backup and recovery, patching, access control, security compliance, and operational documentation. The role collaborates with database, application, security, network, and cloud engineering teams while supporting production systems and emergency on-call needs.

Administer Oracle databases hosted in OCI, including configuration, access, storage, maintenance, monitoring, performance troubleshooting, backups, recovery, patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and disaster recovery. Support SQL issues, batch jobs, reports, extracts, development teams, and database migrations. Coordinate changes with infrastructure and security teams while documenting procedures and incidents. Provide emergency on-call support and potentially assist with Autonomous Database transitions.
