Develop and operationalize machine learning and statistical models predicting weather-driven transmission and distribution outages. Integrate weather, infrastructure, outage, and geospatial datasets into production forecasting pipelines for utility decision-making. Apply spatio-temporal, probabilistic, and physics-based modeling to extreme weather, wildfire, and grid reliability risks. Collaborate with meteorologists, risk modelers, software engineers, and utility customers while using and validating agentic coding tools.

Build and optimize backend services, APIs, databases, and high-performance compute models. Develop systems in C# and Java and optimized C++ simulation code using concurrency, synchronization, multiprocessing, and numerical methods. Design IPC mechanisms, profile performance-critical workloads, contribute to architecture and code reviews, mentor engineers, and support testing and CI/CD. Preferred experience includes parallel computing, scientific or geospatial modeling, cloud infrastructure, containers, observability, and high-throughput pipelines.

Lead the technical vision, architecture, and delivery of high-performance frontend applications, including real-time 2D/3D geospatial visualizations. Build and optimize WebGL rendering pipelines, integrate REST APIs and complex spatial datasets, establish coding and testing standards, troubleshoot performance issues, and mentor frontend engineers. Collaborate with product and executive stakeholders, guide multi-team initiatives, document technical solutions, and oversee software rollouts and improvements.
