Design and develop automated machinery, rotary index table systems, fixtures, nests, and integrated manufacturing processes. Use CAD software to design equipment incorporating ultrasonic welding, pad printing, machine bases, and safety guarding. Manage machine-build timelines, budgets, and project accountability while collaborating with electrical engineering teams.

Maintains IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality documentation, leads corrective actions and MRB activities, supports internal and external audits, manages PFMEAs, PPAPs, control plans, and work instructions, and serves as a customer quality liaison. The engineer also trains personnel, uses metrology equipment, and verifies laboratory calibration records. The role requires at least two years of quality engineering experience, preferably in plastics manufacturing, with less than 5% travel.

Design fixtures, jigs, and facility layouts using CAD software in a manufacturing environment. Drive cost reductions, process improvements, productivity gains, and space utilization. Learn and apply Toyota Production System methods, including one-piece flow, takt time reduction, kanban, and workcell development. Serve as a bilingual Japanese-English liaison with the corporate team in Tokyo. The role requires an engineering bachelor’s degree, fluency in Japanese and English, and approximately 10% travel.
