Design and develop robust medical devices from concept through manufacture. Responsibilities include brainstorming, prototyping, detailed mechanical design, engineering analysis, mathematical modeling, industrialization, risk analysis, testing, and presenting designs to clients. The role requires experience with mechanical systems, test rigs, injection-molded components, and 3D/2D CAD, preferably in medical devices or another highly regulated industry.

Designs and develops electronic hardware for medical devices intended for medium- and high-volume manufacture. Responsibilities include circuit- and system-level design, verification, documentation, prototyping, troubleshooting, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients. The role requires electronics engineering expertise, CAD familiarity, test instrument use, and strong communication and organizational skills. Occasional travel to UK and international client or supplier sites is required.

Develop robust software for medical devices across the full product lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through verification, release, and manufacture. Collaborate with software, electronics, and mechanical engineers; produce technical documentation; test software; and communicate with clients and technical or non-technical stakeholders. The role requires commercial C or C++ development and Python scripting, with desirable experience in embedded systems, real-time software, Linux, Qt, hardware integration, and medical software standards.
