TC Energy Benefits Overview

Leads the Project Controls function for TC Energy’s Canada Gas Projects portfolio. Establishes strategy, governance, standards, and continuous improvement across estimating, planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, forecasting, reporting, analytics, materials, and invoice management. Partners with executives and cross-functional teams to improve project predictability, investment decisions, resource allocation, and delivery outcomes. Oversees organizational capability, transformation, digital solutions, performance measurement, and portfolio reporting across regulated and non-regulated energy infrastructure projects.

Supports procurement, sourcing, supplier onboarding, contract administration, purchase orders, bid events, market intelligence, supplier research, cost-saving analysis, and reporting. Collaborates with suppliers, project teams, and internal stakeholders to support timely, cost-effective project delivery. The intern may participate in project site visits and special initiatives while gaining practical supply chain experience.

Supports the operation, maintenance, testing, inspection, and repair of natural gas pipelines and compression facilities. Responsibilities include right-of-way maintenance, pigging, gas handling, station equipment maintenance, leak and corrosion repair, environmental compliance, contractor coordination, documentation, safety inspections, and regulatory support. The role requires field work in varying weather, rotating shifts, call-outs, overtime, occasional travel, and operation of UTVs where needed.
