Set up and operate abrasive blasting equipment to remove rust and scale from components; secure parts, report equipment malfunctions, perform minor maintenance, operate material-handling equipment, follow safety procedures, and assist with general labor tasks.

Perform basic layout and machining operations using lathes, mills, and boring mills; align and set up components; grind tools; perform preventative maintenance and small repairs; operate material-handling equipment; follow drawings, safety rules, and housekeeping procedures.

Design mechanical piping and pressure vessels per ASME/CSA codes; produce calculations, drawings, BOMs, and specifications; coordinate technical matters with project managers and customers; support sales inquiries; respond to shop/field questions; update in-house programs and engineering standards; participate in process improvements.

Perform difficult layout and close-tolerance machining on components using lathes, mills, and boring mills. Align and set up work, grind tools, support destructive testing, operate shop cranes and forklifts, perform preventative maintenance, assist junior machinists, and follow safety and housekeeping procedures.
