Develop Bash and Python tooling, manage infrastructure through Git and code review, support Redis and RabbitMQ, write postmortems and runbooks, and guide reliable system design in a regulated, revenue-sensitive fintech environment.

Define and implement the company’s SRE practice, including customer-focused SLOs, error budgets, burn-rate alerting, reliability patterns, and observability standards. Embed circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads, and load shedding into Ruby, Java, and Elixir services. Extend Prometheus, Honeycomb, and OpenTelemetry monitoring, support scaling on HashiCorp Nomad, mentor engineers, and establish blameless incident review practices.

Supports paid media planning, channel strategy, campaign logistics, ad trafficking, paid search copywriting, campaign tracking, reporting, and agency coordination. Manages DV360, CM360, and Floodlight setup and delivery while keeping launches on schedule. Uses AI tools to improve efficiency and processes. The role is Chicago-based with in-person work three days per week.
